Affective Commitment Among University Faculty Members in Nepal: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach

Although organizational commitment has received a substantial research attention, it not been well examined in the higher education sector; particular, university faculty members’ affective extensively investigated yet. Thus, this study an association between and predictors: recognition, resources, training development, perceived union support pay satisfaction context of system Nepal. Data were collected through survey from 312 management members Nepali universities analyzed by using structural equation modeling. The findings confirmed that recognition positively related, was negatively associated to commitment. Contrary expectation, significant. also provide salient reference background for policy makers understand importance reward compensation, activities their relevance job performance.
